Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov plans to meet US. Undersecretary of State Thomas Shannon, TASS news agency quoted Ryabkov as saying on Tuesday.

Ryabkov said the meeting could take place before the next United Nations General Assembly, TASS reported. The assembly
begins on Sept. 12.
