Landmine blast leaves two dead in Panjgur

QUETTA: Two people were killed and two others were injured in a landmine blast in Panjgur district on Monday.

According to details, a vehicle hit a landmine laid down by unidentified men in the Gachak area of Panjgur district. As a result of the blast two people identified as Hamza and Muhammad Khan died on the spot while two others were injured.

Rescue workers and security forces rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to the nearby hospital.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blast.

The bodies had been handed over to the heirs for burial and further investigations are under way.
