Commander Rawalpindi Corps visits Hot Spring, Puna sectors along LoC

Befitting response shall continue to protect our Kashmir brothers, says Lt-Gen Nadeem Raza

A day after Indian troops violated ceasefire violations near the Line of Control (LoC), Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lt-Gen Nadeem Raza visited in Hot Spring and Puna sectors on Monday, the military’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Gen Raza appreciated effective response given by the Pakistan Army to Indian ceasefire violations, saying such response shall continue to protect our Kashmir brothers.

Earlier, Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh was summoned by South Asia and SAARC Director General Mohammad Faisal to lodge a strong protest against ceasefire violations by Indian forces in Rawalakot Sector which resulted in the deaths of three civilians including a woman.
