‘Govt providing facilities to students’

Minorities were playing a pivotal role in the progress of the country, said minister

LAHORE: The Punjab government is trying to provide the latest and state-of-the-art educational facilities to outstanding minority students because it is important for the development of the country.

This was stated by Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Khalil Tahir Sandhu on Monday. He was speaking to a delegation led by MPA Kanji Ram, who appreciated the efforts of the minister and hoped that he would continue to play his role for the betterment of minority communities.

Revolutionising education, one government school at a time

The minister said minorities were playing a pivotal role in the progress of the country and talented students from among them were serving the country in every sphere of life. Under the CM’s Special Educational Initiative, minority students were also being provided laptops and educational scholarships.
