PML-N MPA condemned Trump’s speech, saying his allegations were regrettable
LAHORE:
The treasury benches demanded decreasing the number of American diplomats on Pakistani soil after the speech of US President Donald Trump who used ‘bullying’ tactics and undermined Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against terror.
The resolution was submitted in Punjab Assembly by PML-N MPA Hina Pervez Butt, who not only condemned Trump’s speech, but also said his allegations were regrettable. She stated in her resolution that Pakistan had been targeted by the terrorists in a war it had initiated to weed out militancy. “More than 70,000 Pakistanis sacrificed their lives in the said war.”

She said jawans of Pakistani forces, security agencies and police officials, who laid down their lives fighting terrorists could not be forgotten. She said US and India were on the same page, adding the Pakistan nation had no need for American aid.
