Scores of students attend Australian education expo

Free counselling sessions arranged with representatives of international universities during exhibition

KARACHI:
A large number of students belonging to various public and private universities and colleges turned up on Monday to attend the Australian education expo, AEO Pakistan, seeking guidance for higher education especially in Australia.

The exhibition was held at Movenpick Hotel. The students, along with their parents, expressed their interest to enrol for admissions at top-ranked Australian and other leading international universities.

Free counseling sessions were arranged with representatives of international universities during the exhibition so the students could explore their options.

AEO Pakistan, global and Australian education specialists and the IELTS Test Centre, have been conducting the Australian education expo since 2002, providing the perfect opportunity to Pakistani students seeking to study in Australia.


Over the years, thousands of students have benefitted from these expos, which are held twice annually across major cities of Pakistan.

"Being a hub of quality education, Australia provides everything a student dreams of, such as scenic beauty, wildlife safaris and sports facilities. I came here to seek guidance because universities that are ranked among the leading ones in the world are located in Australia," said Farhan Jameel, an undergraduate student, who is hoping to go Australia for higher education.

Briefing the media about the event, one of the organisers of the exhibition said that AEO Pakistan was conducting its 32 Australian Education Roadshow across seven major cities of Pakistan.

Two-day Express Career and Education Expo 2017 concludes in Karachi

Representatives of more than 16 international universities are participating in the event, providing a golden opportunity for Pakistani students to get expert advice and counseling for their future study endeavours.

The first exhibition of the series was held in Lahore on August 21, which was followed by events in Islamabad and Sialkot on August 24 and the fourth event of such a kind was held in Multan. The fourth event was held in Multan on last Saturday.
