Two militants killed during intelligence operation in Bannu: ISPR

At least two militants were killed early Monday during an Intelligence-Based Operation [IBO] by security forces near Jani Khel in Bannu district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
A statement by the military's media wing (ISPR) confirmed the presence of militants at a hide-out which was cordoned off by security personnel.

"Security Forces conducted an IBO to confirm presence of terrorists in a hideout near Jani khel FR Bannu today," reads the statement. "As the forces cordoned the area, terrorists opened fire."
The militants killed during the operations were identified as Rahimullah and Zahid Ullah.
