Youth tourism: Promotion plan unveiled
Program being run with the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Corporation.
PESHAWAR:
The idea of involving youth in tourism related activities will help develop students interpersonal skills, self confidence and discipline besides promoting national harmony among them, said Zahoor Durrani, Managing Director of Sehrahi Travel and Tours.
“The concept is to make the youth aware of their roots and identity, and infuse in them the basic impulse of inquiry by making them explore their surroundings and travel to distant places of interest,” he said while explaining the program his company is running with the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Corporation.
The sites to be developed for tented accommodation are Attock Khurd Railway Heritage & Tourist Resort, Kund National Park, Indus View Point near Hund, Baragali Campus, Kaghan Valley.
