Minor’s Death: Case against Wasa employees
Wasa MD Muhammad Zahid has suspended assistant director Abdul Khalid for his negligence in overseeing the case.

Millat Town police registered a case against unknown Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) employees for their alleged negligence in failing to cover a manhole in Sadiqabad.
On Tuesday evening, an uncovered manhole in Chak No202 caused the death of a three-year-old boy who drowned in a sewer.
A case has been registered under Section 319 of the Pakistan Penal Code on a report by Shabbir Hussain who said that his son, Hassan Raza, was playing in the street when he fell into the sewer and drowned.
