Police officials arrested a man for dealing a fake cheque to a bank clerk on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the police officials, Mustansar Sultan got a loan of Rs300,000 from Amir Sultan, a resident of Munara village.
When he was asked to pay back the money he gave a cheque which was dishonored at a local bank.
The bank manager called police officials to the scene.
Police have registered a case against the accused.
