Enchroachment - Operation has yielded positive results: CM
Clear-cut instructions issued to the administration not to bother vendors earning livelihoods for their children.
LAHORE:
The campaign against encroachments has yielded positive results and the land worth billions of rupees has been retrieved during the drive, the chief minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif said on Wednesday.
The CM said that clear-cut instructions have been issued to the administration to not to bother vendors earning livelihoods for their children, rather alternate arrangements should be made for them. The CM was addressing the party workers.
He said that people were facing great difficulties due to encroachments which also created hindrances in smooth flow of traffic. “The administration has been directed to remove all encroachments with immediate effect,” he said. The CM also said that the government officers should ensure that people’s complaints were paid full attention to and their problems were resolved without discrimination. He said that the party meeting will be held twice a week.
