British MPs call for early grant of right to self-determination to Kashmiris

Members of the British Parliament, on Wednesday, called for early grant of right to self-determination to Kashmiris,  APP reported.

The British MPs delegation, including Graham Jones, Yasmeen Qureshi, Faisal Rasheed and Muhammad Yasin, made the comment while attending a seminar on the “role of Kashmiri diaspora projecting Kashmir cause”, hosted by Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Cell in collaboration with the Mirpur University of Science & Technology [MUST] and Jammu & Kashmir Self-determination Movement Europe.

According to a Radio Pakistan report, the MPs stressed that the people of Kashmir should be “granted their birth right to decide their destiny in line with the internationally acknowledged commitments to pave the way for early and peaceful solution of Kashmir issue.”

The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Masood Kha, chief guest at the event, thanked the British parliamentarians for raising Kashmir issue at the House of Lords. He said overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris played a vital role in highlighting the cause at international level.
