Ronnie O’Sullivan, who revealed that he came close to withdrawing from the World Championship.
LONDON:
Ronnie O’Sullivan, who revealed that he came close to withdrawing from the World Championship, will consider help from a leading sports psychiatrist. O’Sullivan, who will head to the Crucible this weekend having lost his last four first-round matches, had informed officials that he wanted to opt out of the World Championship. However, he was given time to reconsider his decision and eventually changed his mind. Meanwhile, he will visit Dr Steve Peters - the man who helped Britain’s cyclists to their medal haul at the Beijing Olympcis - in a bid to return to the game.
