First dengue case reported in Swabi
The blood sample of the suspected patient has been sent to National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad

First dengue case has been reported in Swabi district here on Tuesday and the blood sample of the suspected patient was sent to National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad for detailed tests, said District Health Officer (DHO) here on Tuesday.
DHO Dr Niaz Muhammad told media that the suspected patient belongs to Charbagh was sent to NIH Islamabad for detailed examination.
Dr Niaz said reports about dengue virus cases are being obtained from all government hospitals on daily basis and that all arrangements were completed for provision of extensive treatment to patients.
Medical Superintendent, District Headquarters Hospital Swabi, Dr Shafiq said test facilities of suspected patients was available in all government hospitals including District Headquarters Hospital Swabi and special isolated wards were set-up.
