A cylinder shop was reduced to ashes when a fire erupted due to gas leakage in Sargodha Road police limits.
A police official said 36-year-old Akhtar Khan, a resident of Chak No 5, was working in his shop when a fire erupted due to gas leakage from a cylinder. As a result, the shopkeeper suffered burn injuries and was shifted to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, a man was killed in a road accident.

Rescue 1122 officials said Naseer Ahmad and Hakim Akmal were riding a motorcycle when a speeding vehicle hit them. As a result, Naseer was killed on the spot while Hakim was injured. The injured was shifted to the Allied Hospital for treatment.
