University Radio: Test transmission starts

University of Sargodha started the test transmission of its FM radio channel.

SARGODHA: The University of Sargodha (UoS) started the test transmission of its FM radio channel tuned to FM frequency 98.2 on Monday. All UoS students will participate and benefit from the broadcast and the radio team will be assisting students in developing technical skills regarding programme production. Additionally, VoV (FM 98.2) will serve the purpose of connecting community members and focusing on campus activities. The VoV is the first ever broadcasting house in Sargodha to adopt the concept of a community broadcast into practice on scientific lines. The radio will also share research on agriculture and health with citizens by sharing research findings with tillers.
