Gas Gamut: Weekly CNG closure irks commuters

CNG stations all over the province remained closed for the second day on Tuesday.

MULTAN:
CNG stations all over the province remained closed for the second day on Tuesday.

Transporters and commuters protested against the weekly closures, saying that over 350 stations had been closed and the public was facing severe difficulties. The CNG Stations Association call for strike was recently shut down due

to public concern, despite the fact that petrol prices

have also escalated.  “Our business is going bust because of the weekly closures. I might have to fold if this continues,” said Multan CNG station owner, Munawwar.
