The opposition sought details of progress made in a case against the killing of a minor who came under a vehicle participating in the GT Road rally.
Opposition leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed submitted a call to attention notice in the Punjab Assembly, saying the house must be updated on progress in the investigation and any arrests which may have been made.
Opposition rejects budget calling it 'anti-people'
A vehicle in the protocol of ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif ran over the minor who succumbed to injuries. In the notice, the opposition leader asked Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif to confirm whether the boy was crushed to death by a vehicle taking part in the GT road rally.
He asked authorities to define the progress made in the case and details of what the investigation has managed to establish.
