Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Giving up just isn’t part of your nature. Whatever the challenge, you’ll stick with it until you’ve overcome the obstacle in question. Still, at least pause and think about what you’re currently facing. What you’d achieve may not justify the time, effort and, possibly, sacrifices required of you.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

As a Taurus and somebody ruled by Venus, the planet of charm, you’d always prefer to find a tactful way to deal with tense issues. However, where that hasn’t worked, which seems to be the case in a number of situations, you’ll have to resort to being frank if not just plain blunt.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

While every sign will be influenced by Mercury’s retrograde cycle, because it’s your ruler, you could find the minor issues it triggers unexpectedly informative. Some of those insights may involve the actual situations in question. But, equally, you could find that, as you explore, you gain powerful insights about persistent personal issues too.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

Nobody would blame you for seeking reassurance, especially about already unsettled arrangements that seem to be getting worse. While it’s true, they’re coming apart, that’s no bad thing. The trick is to learn from these twists and turns. That way, when it’s time to take action, you’ll be ready to respond swiftly.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

On 23 July, the first of this year’s rare pair of Leo New Moons took place, triggering a four-week long cycle of insights, exploration and ultimately, change. However, the nature and extent of those changes won’t be clear until the second Leo New Moon, on 21 August. Until then, keep plans flexible.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Long ago, you learnt that while being truthful is a virtue, there are occasions when certain facts are best kept to yourself. This is just such a time. You’re by no means being dishonest but rather, giving serious thought to when and how those facts will be brought to light.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

Of the twelve signs, you’re best at disentangling yourself and, where necessary, others from unworkable arrangements. Still, currently, even you will have trouble raising and discussing one particularly tricky issue. Still, there’s only one way to tackle it, and it’s by talking things over frankly. Once you begin, the rest will be easier.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

If ever there was a time to either discuss or, perhaps, even let go of issues with others, it’s now. You’re being blessed with a powerful if contentious clash between Venus, which is all about alliances of any variety, and your ruler Pluto. The more forthright discussions are, the more you’ll clear up.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

Although every sign will be influenced by the confusion triggered by the retrograde Mercury, its position accents practical, work or domestic matters. Because this indicates both changes and the discovery of past errors, be prepared for a review. Aggravating as the resulting delays may be, make tackling these your priority.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

There are many varieties of seduction. While what arises may be romantic, the link between Venus and Pluto, which is positioned in Capricorn, suggests just as much you’ll be drawn to an idea or even a place. Or, perhaps, all three. Whatever it is, you’re encouraged to explore first, and make decisions later.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

Nobody enjoys a lively debate, especially with those whose views differ from yours, as much as you do. Yet, at the moment you’re urged to be cautious, if not entirely avoid such discussions, at least with certain individuals. They’re struggling with changes and, consequently, are taking things far more seriously than you’d imagine.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Ordinarily, it would be wise to say a firm ‘no’ to ideas or offers that don’t appeal to you. But the fact is, with so much in transition, your life’s changing and what seems unwise or even just plain impractical could well fit in. Knowing that, at least explore what’s coming your way.
