Criticising Jang and Geo owner Mir Shakilur Rehman, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman said that [Mir Shakil] had himself admitted that he was not into journalism. Rather he owned a business and would favour anyone who would pay him.

“Mir is propagating and campaigning for a national crime and opposing judges just for money,” Imran said.

Imran earlier announced boycotting Jang/Geo group, accusing it of “biased, one-sided coverage of the investigations into Panamagate case”.
