Social Welfare And Special Education: Four depts devolved to G-B
Federal Ministry of Social Welfare and Special Education has delegated affairs of four subordinate departments.

The Federal Ministry of Social Welfare and Special Education has delegated affairs of four subordinate departments to the Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) government, officials said on Monday.
“The process of devolution has taken effect and the affairs of these departments will be the G-B government’s responsibility,” said an official in the G-B government.
He added that now the G-B government will be responsible to run the affairs of these departments, including their budget, staff, and all assets.
He further added that the departments that will be run by the G-B government were Social Services, medical centres, comprehensive community centres, special education centres and others.
He said that more than 100 employees of these departments will now be under the supervision of G-B government and said that notification to this effect has also been issued by the federal government.
