Nation Building: Students asked to acquire quality education

Saleem Khan advises students to focus attention on the acquisition of education to shoulder future responsibilities.

PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Minister for Population Welfare, Saleem Khan advised students to focus their attention on the acquisition of education to shoulder future responsibilities. “Students role is crucial to national development,” he said while speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of Chitral Students Welfare Association (CSWA) in Peshawar, the other day.

It is impossible to achieve the objectives of national development without providing quality education to the young generation. That is why the present government is giving top priority to the development of the education sector, the minister said.

He said that a campus of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University was being established in Chitral, which would provide facilities of higher education to the local people. Responding to the demands of reserving seats for local students in various departments of the University of Peshawar, Khan assured the students that he would soon take up the issue with the K-P governor.
