PESHAWAR: The Political Administration of Khyber Agency has announced to establish a modern school which will be affiliated with the Lawrence Cadet Ghorragali, said a press release on Friday.

Khyber Agency Political Agent Captain (retd) Khalid Mehmood on Friday and inaugurated the education institution for which he proposed the name Khyber.

The school will be the first of its kind in Fata region having school and college as pilot project and it will be endorsed and affiliated with Lawrence Cadet.

He added that Lawrence College will provide all administrative support to the institute and the head of Lawrence College will be the member of board. Besides representatives of other reputed institutes like Aitcheson College, Cadet College Hasanabdal, Burns Hall School Abbottabad and while senior bureaucrats of Fata will be on the BoG.

He said that the K-P governor will be the chairman of the board of the proposed Khyber School.

Public highly praised the initiative while knowing complete boarding facilities will be provided in this institution.

The PA of Khyber Agency added that beside international standard educational facilities, co-curricular activities, the school will carry out social cohesion plans for exposing students to other cultures and ideals for their capacity building.
