Name the 'conspirators' Mian sahib, demands Kaira

PPP leader says Nawaz Sharif kept denouncing "container" politics and now he himself had resorted to it

Kaira asks Nawaz to reveal the names of conspirators.

LAHORE:
Pakistan People Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira asked former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday to reveal the names of the "conspirators" he had frequently been referring to following his disqualification.

Speaking to reporters in Lahore, the PPP Punjab chapter president said Sharif had announced that he would accept the court verdict, but now that he had been disqualified he was describing it as conspiracy against him.

''Nawaz Sharif has been saying that a conspiracy was hatched against him. If there is one, he should tell us the name of the conspirators," he added.

Kaira further said the PPP had repeatedly asked the former PM to reveal if he believed he was in danger, but had chosen to speak now when the decision had been announced.

"A five-member bench of the Supreme Court has unanimously disqualified you [Sharif] and a reference is also being filed against you. So don't build pressure using such tactics," the PPP leader said.

'There is a conspiracy against democracy in Pakistan'

Kaira further said Sharif was being dealt with a relatively "soft hand".

Referring to the former PM's homecoming rally, he said Sharif had kept denouncing "container" politics and now he himself had resorted to it.
