The prime minister stressed the need for adopting pro-active measures to increase the quantum of bilateral trade. He invited Korean firms to take full advantage of Pakistan’s liberal investment regime and invest in important sectors of the economy including energy, mining, agro-industry, other industries and IT.

“Pakistan values its excellent diplomatic ties spread over three decades with the Republic of Korea,” said Abbasi. He pointed out that friendly relations between the two countries had grown in all fields. Chung Sye-Kyun expressed the hope that bilateral relations would strengthen further.
