Tahirul Qadri returns to Pakistan
PAT chief says he has returned to seek justice for those killed in Model Town tragedy
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri arrived in Lahore on Tuesday saying he had returned to the country to seek justice for victims of the Model Town brutality and their families.
In June 2014, 11 people, including PAT members, were killed in a violent clash between the party supporters and Lahore police.
On his arrival in Lahore in June, the PAT chief said he would not remain silent on the Model Town brutality, and fight for the justice till his death.
Dr Qadri to reach Lahore on August 8
He made it clear that he would not lose courage and continue this battle against the rulers. “Qisas of Model Town massacre is part of our faith. We will continue fighting for it till last breath of our lives."
“Progress on Model Town massacre has stalled. The killers of the PAT workers are not being summoned,” he said.
