Health department has taken disciplinary action against doctors who damaged property and tortured senior doctors

The Punjab Health department has started receiving applications for the vacant posts of postgraduate residences through online portal while the doctors tried to destabilise the situation on Sunday.
According to spokesperson for the health department, the department has taken disciplinary action against doctors as they were found involved in damaging the property and torturing senior doctors during YDA’s strike.
YDA strike continues as health dept sacks 38 doctors
The spokesperson further said YDA’s activist on Sunday wanted to destabilise the functioning of Jinnah Hospital and harassed the new candidates at the hospital, upon which Jinnah Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Sohain Saqlain beefed up the security. All the interviews for the post of PGs were then conducted peacefully.
