PU agrees to academic exchange with Chinese varsity

MoU aims to promote cooperation in teaching, internships as well as seminars, conferences and workshops

LAHORE: Punjab University Institute of Communication Studies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Liaoning Communication University in China. The representatives of both the universities agreed on academic exchange of faculty and students.

The MoU aims to promote cooperation in teaching students, provide internships as well as arrange seminars, conferences and workshops. Both the universities will invite the faculties and work on the joint publications and editorial reviews.

An MoU signing ceremony was held at the Institute of Communication Studies, in the presence of Faculty Behavioral and Social Sciences Dean Dr Zakria Zakir and Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) In-charge Savera Shami.

University Vice President Prof Xu Ying Liaoning Communication represented the Chinese. The faculty members of the Institute of Communication Studies were also present on the occasion.
