The AML leader remained unhurt in the mob attack
Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said on Friday that about 300 workers of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) attacked his residence Lal Haveli in Rawalpindi.
A statement issued by the party spokesperson said the violent attackers, led by the chairman Union Council Arya Mohallah, pelted the building with stones.
The mob also displayed weapons and entered into the premises of Lal Haveli. However, the AML leader remained unhurt as the police had arrived in time and thwarted the attackers.
