PESHAWAR: The city district government has decided to computerise land record of its estate. Moreover, the City District Government of Peshawar (CDGP) will also post the strength of its staff, seniority lists and information about its projects on the internet. The decision was taken in a meeting held with District Nazim Mohammad Asim Khan in the chair. CDGP will also issue computerised receipts of the rent for its properties. The shops, parking places, parks and other properties of the CDGP would be posted on Google Maps. Asim has asked Director Coordination Sahibzada Tariq to present a report on the issue in 20 days. The district nazim said computerising of land records will facilitate the people, simplify revenue collection and also defeat designs of corrupt employees who mint money by tampering documents. CDGP has a functional website with available information about its councillors, bye-laws, projects and a citizen corner for comments and complaints.
