Rs39m spent on uplift schemes: PHA

SARGODHA: All schemes of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) are underway and special efforts are being made to make the city beautiful.

PHA approves Rs137.8m for FY 2017-18

At least Rs39 million had been spent on 40 development schemes in the district.This was said by PHA Chairperson Dr Nadia Aziz on Wednesday. She said various steps were being taken for the beautification of the city and works regarding green belts, plantation and others.

She added 35 schemes were underway in the district at a cost of Rs30.24 million. The PHA had approved Rs137.885 million budget for the year 2017-18 while it will generate Rs54.436 million from its own resources.
