PHA approves Rs137.8m for FY 2017-18

Rs63.925m allocated for the salaries and allowances of PHA employees

SARGODHA: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Sargodha has approved a budget of Rs137.885 million for the fiscal year 2017-18. Chairing a meeting of the PHA's Board of Directors (BOD) on Thursday, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Punjab Dr Nadia Aziz disclosed that PHA would generate Rs54.436 million funds from its own resources.

She said that the opening balance of the 2017-18 budget was Rs83.448 million and the government has released these funds in favour of grant for salaries, miscellaneous expenditures and office expenses.

‘Visible improvement in healthcare budget’  

A total of Rs63.925 million have been allocated for the salaries and allowances of PHA employees out of which Rs41.925 million have been reserved for regular employees and Rs22 million for daily wage employees.

She briefed that a total of Rs17.5 million have been allocated for contingency expenditures and Rs8.5 million were allocated for operation and maintenance.
