LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced that matriculation supplementary examinations will begin from September 7, 2017.
Students shine in 2017 matric exams
According to an announcement made by BISE Lahore, the supplementary examination will start from Thursday, September 7, and applicants can submit forms and fees up till August 22. BISE Lahore also announced that students would be able to apply for re-checking of their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination 2017.
The board announced it would entertain applications for re-checking till August 9. It added that in the annual results announced on July 25, 73.75% out of 226,619 entrants passed the BISE Lahore Matriculation Annual Examination 2017. Out of the total candidates that applied, 167,131 passed.
25 cases of cheating reported in Matric exams in Karachi
In the science group, a total of 143,037 candidates appeared and 116,240 passed, making the success rate 81.27%. In the humanities group, a total of 83,582 candidates appeared and 50,891 passed.
