Industrial carnival to encourage trade activities
Local, international companies are setting up stalls
HYDERABAD:
Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) President Goharullah said on Wednesday that the fourth Industrial Carnival being held in the city would boost trade and industrial activities, adding arrangements for the event had been completed.
The event, being organised by the HCCI, will be held from August 11 to September 9 at SITE Hyderabad and will comprise several activities and facilities including display stalls for companies, food courts and cultural shows.
Exhibitions considered vital for growth, development
All stalls in the event had been booked by national and international companies, Goharullah stated, adding a large number of visitors from Hyderabad and its adjoining areas were expected to come to the exhibition centre.
The HCCI president emphasised that fool-proof security arrangements were being made by law enforcement personnel in coordination with the district administration for the event, while asking for additional suggestions from the business community for making the event a success.
He also highlighted the planned grand cultural show on August 13, the eve of Pakistan’s 70th Independence Day, along with performances by a renowned circus group from Lahore.
Goharullah said the main objective of organising the Industrial Carnival was to promote trade and industrial activities in the region as owners and representatives of various national and international companies, office-bearers of chambers of commerce and industry from various cities of the country as well as prominent industrialists and businessmen were expected to visit the carnival.
PNCA plans exhibition on land, people of Pakistan
Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and the FPCCI president have been invited to attend the inaugural session.
