Pay and pension: AECC for quick implementation of recommendations
Demand for remission of advance salaries of government employees serving in Chitral from 1st Jan to 31st Dec 2010.
CHITRAL:
The early implementation of Pay and Pension Committee recommendations as well as the service structure of government employees was demanded by government employees in Chitral on Sunday.
It came during a meeting of All Employees Coordination Council (AECC) held here with Dr Noorul Islam, president of Chitral Doctors Association, in the chair. Provincial Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan was chief guest on the occasion.
The participants comprising representatives of different government employee organisations thanked the Saleem Khan for increasing the firewood allowance and Unattractive Area Allowance. However, they requested an increase in the firewood allowance according to the prevailing market rate.
They also demanded remission of advance salaries of government employees serving in Chitral from 1st January to 31st December 2010. The AECC cabinet also demanded reimbursement of advance salaries to government employees which were deducted after 31st December 2009.
They also demanded the implementation of Pay and Pension Committee recommendations as well as the service structure of government employees. The provincial minister assured the employees of his support and asked them to serve the people sincerely.
