Security concerns: JUI convention postponed
Convention was due to be held on Tuesday, has been postponed for security reasons.

The convention organised under the Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) banner, which was to take place on Tuesday, has been postponed for security reasons, according to JUI Senior Deputy Ameer Maulana Murad Halejvi.
“Maulana Fazlur Rahman had to address the convention and ulemas were to be rewarded degrees but the convention was postponed because the government has not provided security for maulanas,” said Halejvi.
