ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation’s (PTDC) tent village at Ramalake in Gilgit-Baltistan attracted a large number of tourists from across the country during the current season, according to PTDC officials.

PTDC also plans on establishing tent villages in its facilities in Naran and Ayubia to cater to the increasing number of tourists and make up for insufficient accommodation facilities at tourist destinations. The strategy has been adopted to promote domestic tourism by offering low-cost lodging facilities.
