JI rally demands accountability of all
Party members staged a rally in the capital to celebrate what it termed was a victory in the fight against corruption

Members of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) staged a rally in the capital to celebrate what it termed was a victory in the fight against corruption. With JI being the only party to stage a rally in the capital, with hundreds of their supporters from the twin cities gathering at Aabpara Chowk on Friday afternoon. They carried party flags and raised anti-corruption and Islamist slogans. JI chief Sirajul Haq said that the premier’s disqualification was only the beginning, as he called for the accountability process to continue. Other local and provincial leaders, who addressed the rally, also called for ‘accountability for all’ including, judges, generals, and bureaucrats.
