Khanewal takes lead in uplift works

MULTAN: Khanewal has been ranked amongst the top districts in Punjab where most of the development work has been carried out in the last five months.

This was said by Communication and Works Department Executive Engineer Abdul Qayyum Tahir on Tuesday. He said earlier in February 2017, Khanewal District was ranked at number 33 among 36 districts of Punjab but within five months, uplift works were carried out on massive scale and a steady the progress was made.



He added that 100% funds were utilised under the Khadam-i-Punjab School Programme and Annual Development Programme that led the district to take the lead. Tahir appreciated the officials for their cooperation and hard work.
