29,000 K-P people to perform Hajj
K-P Governor sent off the first contingent of Hajjis from the Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar on Monday

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Zafar Iqbal Jhagra sent off the first contingent of Hajjis from the Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar on Monday. K-P Director Hajj Shakeel Ahmed Sethi said about 29,000 people would perform Hajj from KP this year. Talking to the media the director Hajj said pre-Hajj operation has been started across the country including K-P. On the first day, Sethi said about 400 intending pilgrims left for Saudi Arabia on board two flights. The pre-Hajj operation will continue till August 26, he said, adding that all arrangements have been completed for Hajj operation. The director said that federal government had made outstanding arrangements for the pilgrims last year and would provide more facilities to them this year.
