Sonam Kapoor trolled for her 'Nepotism' tweet

Not only is she preachy but has forgotten that her dad played a great part in promoting her own career

Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan sparked off the debate on nepotism once again after they took a jibe at Kangana Ranaut at IIFA Awards 2017.

Although the trio issued a public apology after receiving severe backlash, the debate on nepotism refuses to simmer down. Not just the public, even celebrities are trying to share their opinion on the much-discussed topic.

Sonam Kapoor tweeted the definition of nepotism, misspelling the word and the reactions trolling her for the mistake are hilarious, reports ibtimes. It wasn't until 24 hours that the actor deleted her  post, but till then it was too late and twitter was a buzz with witty reactions.

But it's not just the misspelling that added fuel to the fire but the fact that the Neerja actor's tweet made no sense at all - like how was it relevant to anything, we ask?

Take a look:

I was ungraceful towards Kangana: KJo regrets chanting 'nepotism rocks' at IIFA 2017

No surprise as such now that this born-and-bred Bollywood kid was trolled for not only being preachy about nepotism but also having forgotten that her father veteran actor Anil Kapoor played a great part in launching and promoting her career!

The debate on nepotism seems to haunt Bollywood like a plague - and Sonam Kapoor is deemed guilty of the same vice.

The reactions to the tweet read:

Rajesh Rathi‏: "Please don't make a fool of yourself by telling people the definition of nepotism. Point is yes it exists and u shld accept it."

Inglorious Batman‏: "Girl knows how to Google."

Prateek: "Nepotism is greatly defined by your existence in this industry ......so don't you try to give sermons."

Aditya Anand‏: "Also please do the same for your other relative/cousin, Arjun Kapoor. Its in the interest of the nation too.
P.S.- Mubarakan flop hai!"

Don't get personal and troll: Sonam Kapoor requests fans

Anand Singh‏: "In google search this one is the first description of Nepotism and u copy paste it. U also belongs to same "
