Attock local govt gets Rs5.18b budget
The Punjab government has earmarked Rs5.18 billion for several infrastructure projects in the district

The Punjab government has earmarked Rs5.18 billion for several infrastructure projects in the Attock district.
A spokesperson for the Attock district government said that among the projects are a bridge built between Attock and Mianwali district at a cost of Rs1.2 billion. The bridge, he said, would reduce the travel distance between these districts by 75 kilometres.
Other projects which will be built during fiscal year 2017-18 include the 17-km-long Jahanian Hatian Road which is expected to cost around Rs962 million, the Teen Meela-Sanjwal Road at a cost of Rs389.6 million, Teen Meela-Kamra Road at a cost of Rs199.9 million, a 31-km-long road from Jand to Pindigheb at a cost of Rs702.3 million, a three kilometre road from the Session’s Court to Polytechnic College in the district at a cost of Rs17.7 million.
