
Chairing a meeting at CDA Headquarters regarding water supply issues in the northern strip of the capital, he said the corporation was alive to water and sewerage needs of Islamabad and efforts were underway to confirm water supply to the city.
“We are trying to overcome water supply constraints by hard work, better water management and commitment to our cause of serving the people of the capital,” the mayor told senior officials of the MCI and CDA present in the meeting.
Recent rain spell has significantly improves water level in the reservoirs, however, steps would be taken to utilise the resource properly, Aziz said.
