The minister said that Punjab TB Control Programme has introduced mobile diagnostic vans for chest screening of industrial workers. These diagnostic vans would visit industrial zones for the check-ups of labourers, he said. Adding that they would be provided free treatment facilities, Nazir said that hundreds of more mobile health units were being purchased for providing treatment facilities to the patients at their doorstep.
