Mohmand Agency Operation: 30 militants killed in fresh air strikes
At least 30 Taliban militants were killed and dozens more injured in fresh fighting.
PESHAWAR:
At least 30 Taliban militants were killed and dozens more injured in fresh fighting in the Mohmand tribal region on Friday. According to official sources, helicopter gunships and warplanes targeted suspected militant hideouts in Safi and Bezai sub-divisions on Mohmand Agency as part an ongoing security operation codenamed, Brekhna. The official sources said that the airstrikes targeted bases of militants in Swarang Darra and Matai areas of Bazai tehsil.
