Quetta suicide attack: Lashkar-e-Jhangvi claims responsibility
Man says his organisation carried out attack as reprisal for arrest of "several of our members".

Banned sectarian outfit Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LeJ) claimed responsibility for the suicide attack at the residence of DIG investigations in Quetta which killed a police constable. A man, who said his name was Ali Sher Haideri, said that his organisation had carried out the attack as reprisal for the arrest of “several of our members”. Meanwhile, the police rounded up at least 25 suspects in connection with the bombing and released CCTV footage of the suicide attack.
