Poisoned Bread: 4 family members dead, 4 critical

Four members of a family died on Thursday after eating poisoned bread. The remaining four are in critical condition.
According to health officials, the incident took place in village 167 10R where Khair Din’s family ate poisoned bread. Chanun Bibi, Umer Hayat, Zubair and Bakho Bibi are currently being treated in the DHQ hospital.
Khair Din said that he had asked someone to donate a sack of flour and that the flour ended up being poisoned. Din said that he had contacted the health department but they refused to take action. Meanwhile, Khanewal EDO (Health) Dr Abdul Waheed said he was unaware of the incident.
