Case against former GCU VC
Gulberg Police officials registered a case against the former Government College University (GCU) VC.

Gulberg Police officials registered a case against the former Government College University (GCU) vice chancellor (VC) under fraud articles on Friday. According to the police report, GCU registrar Muhammad Akram contended that the former VC Shahid Mehboob had given a Rs106 million contract for the construction of a social science block in 2007 to a non-registered contractor Muhammad Latif through bogus documents. Gulberg police registered the case and have begun searching for the contractor as well as the VC, who have fled the district.
