LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that the public would remain indifferent to the long march, sit-ins and protests and that they only want development in the country.

People of Pakistan gave the mandate of public-service to Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) PML (N), the politics of which was based on people's advancement and prosperity.

On the other hand were those trying to push the nation in reverse direction by doing negative politics, he added. He said that these elements did not want elimination of extremism, poverty, unemployment and darkness from the country.

Edhi was real identity of Pakistan: CM 

He said history and nation would never forgive those responsible for creating chaos, restlessness and confrontation in country so the hindrance creating players should show mercy on the people. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, PML (N) had nobly served the people wholeheartedly, he added.

He expressed these views while talking to delegation PML (N) office bearers.
