Charged: Man booked for beating sisters-in-law

A man was booked for beating his sisters-in-law in Golra on Friday. The Golra police registered a case against Zulfiqar and his two accomplices for beating Kaneezan Bibi and Hafeezan Bibi.
The two women had come to meet their sister at her house, police said. There was an exchange of hot words between the two women and their brother-in-law and their sister.
Upon which Zulfiqar, along with Lak Akbar and Imran Akbar, locked the women in a room. They beat them with blunt objects, said a victim. The two women were taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in critical condition. The police registered a case against Zulfiqar, Lal Akbar and Imran Akbar and started investigations.
